3. Coding assistant and NCCI checker: educational use only
- The tool is a learning aid. It is not coding, billing, legal, compliance or medical advice, and it does not replace the official code books, CMS files, payer policies or a licensed encoder.
- Results may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. ICD-10-CM and HCPCS Level II results come from public tables, and the NCCI pairs shown are a small sample. CMS updates NCCI quarterly.
- You are responsible for verifying every code before you bill. To the fullest extent the law allows, PRISCO is not liable for claim rejections, denials, recoupments, penalties, lost revenue or other loss that results from using the tool.
- Do not enter patient information into the tool.
